Moscow, 6 May 2021 - RUSAL (SEHK: 486; Moscow Exchange: RUAL), a leading global aluminium producer, is pleased to announce the appointment of Bob Katsiouleris as Director, Market Development and Risk, reporting to Steve Hodgson, Director of Sales and Marketing.

In his role, Bob will be responsible for long-term product strategy development, price and market risk management, market intelligence and strengthening partnerships with key customers within the Company’s key growth segments. As the irreversible structural shift towards a more sustainable world continues, he will support the development of long-term relationships with key aluminium consumers who are increasingly demanding premium, high quality, value-added products consistent with their own environmental goals. Bob will play an important role in supporting RUSAL as it builds on the rapid growth of its industry leading low carbon aluminium, ALLOW.

This appointment further strengthens RUSAL’s global sales presence and follows the recent return of Steve Hodgson, who is responsible for commercial operations and aluminium sales in the European, Asian and American markets.

Bob initially joined RUSAL in 2015 as European Sales Director, before becoming Export Sales Director, responsible for European, Asian and American Sales in 2017 until April 2018. His over 25-year career within the minerals, bulks and commodities sectors also includes senior commercial roles with Rio Tinto and Nyrstar.
