Corporate university

RUSAL Corporate University is responsible for the training and development of all Company employees, their career advancement and performance improvement. The programs and projects implemented by the Corporate University are aimed at developing the management skills of the Company's employees and helping them to achieve relevant qualifications.

The Corporate University also supports the talent pool by working with schools, colleges, and universities on job placement programs.

The Corporate University generates ideas, approaches and methods of training RUSAL’s employees and engages both Company specialists and contractors as coaches.

The University provides blue collars with 35-module training programs. Through successfully passing exams, specialists can receive higher qualification ranks.

Another training program is called Process Basics. It consists of 6 general and 16 special training modules, which are developed for specialists of various levels working at the Company's plants and for employees of certain divisions or directorates.

Another project, the School of Mentoring, is aimed at developing the succession system. The Supervisor School, in turn, creates a pool of line managers and develops the management skills of supervisors and foremen.

RUSAL Corporate University also runs a staff pool training program, New Generation internships for university graduates, RUSAL Distance Learning System (DLS), RUSAL Laboratory (a Corporate Youth Initiative Centre) and many other projects.
