Moscow, 20 April 2010 - UC RUSAL (SEHK: 486, EuroNext: RUSAL/RUAL), the world’s largest aluminium producer, announces the completion of the commissioning of Potline 5 at the Irkutsk Aluminium Smelter (IrkAZ). The newly launched potline has a design capacity of 166,000 tonnes. In 2010, Potline 5 will produce 156,700 tonnes of aluminium.  The total budget of the project is over USD 600 million.
