One of the largest and most technologically advanced alumina refineries in the world.

RUSAL owns 30% of HWNM, and Hebei Wenfeng Industrial Group owns 70%.

The refinery is characterized by a large capacity and low resource consumption, state-of-the-art production technologies and a high degree of automation. The facility has a disposal system for red sludge in ferrous metallurgy and cement production.

Alumina production began in March 2022.
