Dian Dian is the largest bauxite deposit in the world.

In December 2013, Dian Diane Diane Project (COBAD) was granted a special status of a project of national importance by a decree of the President of Guinea.

RUSAL started exporting bauxites from Dian Diane deposit in June 2018. The first ton of products was shipped in a ceremony attended by the President of Guinea, Alpha Condé.
