Development
Annually, Bratsk Aluminium Smelter produces more than 1 million tons of primary aluminium. Bratsk metallurgists are systematically working to reduce costs, save energy and reduce production costs.
As part of its environmental programme, the Bratsk smelter is installing modern, highly efficient gas treatment plants. Metallurgists are also implementing the Ecological Soderberg technology and reconstructing sludge fields. Recycling and recycling of production wastes, environmental monitoring and arrangement of a sanitary protection zone at the enterprise are being carried out. RUSAL's investments in environmental projects of Braz in 2019 exceeded RUB 2 billion. Brotherly metallurgists are systematically working to reduce costs, save energy and reduce production costs.
