UC RUSAL largest Aluminium Division to increase alloy production by 70%
Moscow, 14 February 2012 — UC RUSAL (SEHK: 486; Euronext: RUSAL/RUAL; MICEX-RTS: RUALR), the world’s largest aluminium producer, is pleased to announce its plans to increase alloy production in Aluminium Division East units by up to 70% by 2016. This is an increase from 1,130,000 tonnes to 1,930,000 tonnes. Investments in the project in 2012 will amount to USD 5 million, the Division's alloy production in 2012 will rise to 1,260,000 tonnes.

UC RUSAL to start recycling wastes at UAZ in 2014
Moscow, 9 February 2012 — UC RUSAL (SEHK: 486; Euronext: RUSAL/RUAL; MICEX: RUALR; RTS: RUALR), the world’s largest aluminium producer, is pleased to announce the launch of a new alumina production waste recycling technology test run, which will result in the construction of a prototype facility at the Urals aluminium smelter (UAZ). The facility's recycling capacity is expected to treat up to 200,000 tonnes of red mud annually with its launch planned for October 2014. Investments in the project will amount to RUR 600 million, with a 3-year payback period.

UC RUSAL to increase its stake in Yaroslavsk GRK to 100%
Moscow, 2 February 2012 — UC RUSAL (SEHK:486, Euronext: RUSAL/RUAL, MICEX: RUALR, RTS: RUALR), the world’s largest aluminium producer, is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement to acquire 50% of OOO “Yaroslavsk GRK” (Yaroslavsk Mining Company) from Russian Mining Company (RGRK). Following completion of the deal, Yaroslavsk GRK will be 100% wholly owned by RUSAL.
