Biography
Andrey Volvenkin has been Head of RUSAL’s Engineering and Construction Division since March
2010. He is accountable for improving maintenance efficiency across RUSAL’s operations and
implementing construction and modernisation projects.
Between 2005 and 2010, Mr Volvenkin worked for RusEngineering Co (part of RUSAL) as
Director for Equipment Manufacturing and Maintenance. From 2003 to 2005, he was General
Director of RUSAL’s Service Centre.
Mr. Volvenkin began his professional career in 1987 at the Sayanogorsk Aluminium Smelter, where
he worked as Senior Engineer from 1999 to 2002.
Andrey Volvenkin graduated from the Ordzhonikidze Siberian Metals Institute.
