Biography
Ekaterina Nikitina was appointed RUSAL’s HR Director in April 2011.
Before joining RUSAL, Ms Nikitina was head of HR in Basic Element, Russia’s leading diversified
investment company. She joined Basic Element in 2002 as a Human Resources Manager with
responsibility for recruitment and labour relations. Between 2006 and 2008, she was the Company’s
Deputy HR Director.
Ekaterina Nikitina graduated from Simferopol State University, majoring in Romano-Germanic
Philology. She also graduated from the Management Consulting School of the Academy of National
Economy under the Russian Government.
