Biography
Vadim Geraskin has been Director for Government Relations, Natural Monopolies, and Protection
of Resources since January 2008. He oversees the company’s relationships with national and local
authorities, the Russian Government and non-profit organizations. Mr Geraskin is also responsible
for public-private partnership projects as well as supporting the social and economic development in
the regions where RUSAL operations are based, and for enhancing the company’s security system.
Before taking up his current role, Vadim Geraskin was RUSAL’s Director for Natural Monopolies
from 2004 to 2008. Prior to that Mr Geraskin was head of the Transport and Logistics Directorate,
and earlier – Director of RUSAL’s Transport Department.
From 1997 to 2000, Vadim Geraskin was General Director of «Zarubezhkontrakt», and from 1993
to 1997 worked in «Alyuminproduct».
Mr Geraskin has a BA degree in physics from Moscow State University.
