Biography
Alexey Arnautov is Director of RUSAL’s Aluminium Division West, which includes the Volgograd, Volkhov, Kandalaksha and Nadavoitsy aluminium smelters, Zaporozhye Aluminium Complex (Ukraine) and Kubal (Sweden), as well as the aluminium operations of the Urals and Bogoslovsk facilities. The division focuses on boosting the output of value-added products that are created together with RUSAL’s clients and fully meet their requirements.
From March 2009 through July 2010, Mr Arnautov was Head of RUSAL’s Alumina Division. Prior to this, he was the Financial Director of RUSAL’s Aluminium Division. Between November 2004 and April 2006, Alexei Arnautov was the Director of the Financial Department of RUSAL’s Engineering and Construction Division. From 2000 to 2004, he headed the Financial Department of RUSAL.
From 1998 to 2000, Mr Arnautov held various financial positions in Sibneft. He began his professional career in Noyabrskneftegaz in the Far North in 1996.
Alexei Arnautov graduated from the Donbass State Academy of Construction and Architecture with a degree in Engineering and Construction. He also holds an honours degree from the International Academy of Entrepreneurship and an MBA in Economics from the Institute of Business and Economics and California State University.
